3. Account Registration
3.1 Account Creation
To use Velocare, you must create an account by providing:

- Sign in with Apple (iOS only)
You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your account information updated.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use
We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.
3.3 One Account Per Person
You may not create multiple accounts or share your account with others.
4. Subscription Plans
4.1 Free Plan
The Free plan includes:
- Track 1 bike
- Track up to 5 components per bike
- Health Score
- Cost tracking
- Maintenance alerts
- Strava sync
- Correct indoor-ride wear
- Limited to one active bike (can switch once per 7 days)
4.2 Pro Plan
The Pro plan (subscription required) includes:
- Unlimited bikes and components
- Your own intervals and custom parts
- Part lifespan history
- Wear forecasts
- Cost insights
- Ride-type wear (gravel/MTB)
- Receipt photos
- Service book PDF export
4.3 Subscription Terms
Auto-Renewal:
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period (monthly or annual)
- You will be charged via your Apple ID account
- Cancel at any time via iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions

Location services and bike shop data are provided by Google Places API. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or reliability of shop information.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
7.1 Your Content
You retain all rights to the content you submit to Velocare (“Your Content”), including:
- Bike and component data
- Maintenance logs
- Photos and receipts
- Custom component names
License to Us: By submitting Your Content, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and process your data to provide the Service
- Display your data back to you in the App
- Make backup copies for disaster recovery
We do NOT claim ownership of Your Content and will not use it for any purpose beyond providing the Service.
7.2 Our Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by [COMPANY NAME] and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Maintenance Data Disclaimer

Velocare provides maintenance tracking and reminders based on distance and time intervals. This information is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered professional mechanical advice.
You acknowledge that:
- Wear calculations are estimates based on distance and time, not actual component condition
- Default maintenance intervals may not be accurate for your specific bike, components, or riding conditions
- We are not responsible for component failure, accidents, or injuries resulting from:
- Following or not following maintenance reminders
- Inaccurate wear calculations
- Missed or delayed reminders
- Incorrect maintenance intervals
- You are solely responsible for:
- Inspecting your bike regularly
- Determining when maintenance is actually needed
- Having qualified mechanics perform maintenance
- Ensuring your bike is safe to ride
ALWAYS consult a qualified bicycle mechanic for safety-critical maintenance. When in doubt, get your bike professionally serviced.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
10.1 No Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability
10.2 Limitation of Damages
